The Spring House was built in the early 1900’s as a home. The story goes that there are underground springs on the property. The community of Woodstock would come get spring water from the woman who lived in the house, hence the name Spring House.
Many changes occurred over the years, and eventually the home became a restaurant. In 1979 it was purchased by Dan and Sue Harshman. They developed an outstanding reputation for their food and service.
Alas, twenty-one years is a long time, and Dan and Sue decided it was time to move on. In 2000, they sold the restaurant to Anthony Andriola and Joel Smith.
